What should I do if my child has to miss school?
If your child must miss a school day, please contact our office the same day before 9:00 a.m. to report the absence. Please give your name, your child’s name, and the reason for the absence. Daily attendance is extremely important for a positive, successful learning experience. We understand, though, that there are times your child will be unable to attend school because of an illness or family emergency.

If it becomes absolutely necessary to take your child out of school for a family trip during school hours, we require parents to meet with the school principal to discuss the nature of the trip and the academic standing of the student. In addition, parents must sign a Pre-Arranged Absence Agreement form. Please look under the Parents quick links on the Home page to view or print a copy of the agreement.
